This lesson focuses on the following competencies:

  1. Understanding the Benefits of Sports: Students will read and discuss the physical and mental health benefits of sports, helping them gain knowledge about how regular physical activity contributes to overall well-being.
  2. Speaking and Communication Skills: By discussing the benefits of sports and brainstorming ideas in groups, students will enhance their speaking and communication abilities, fostering collaborative learning.
  3. Critical Thinking and Idea Generation: The lesson includes brainstorming exercises, where students will think critically about the advantages of physical activity and contribute new ideas to a group discussion.
  4. Creativity and Visual Communication: Students will create a poster highlighting the benefits of a specific physical activity. This task will encourage creativity and the ability to present information visually, an important skill for clear and engaging communication.
  5. Teamwork and Collaboration: Working in groups to create posters and participate in class discussions helps students develop teamwork skills, as they must collaborate, share ideas, and agree on how to present their knowledge.

This lesson promotes a comprehensive understanding of the positive impact of sports on physical and mental health while enhancing communication, creativity, and teamwork among students.

This lesson focuses on developing the following competencies:

  1. Empathy and Inclusivity: By participating in activities that simulate physical disabilities (e.g., blindfolding), students will develop empathy and a better understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with physical disabilities.
  2. Communication Skills: Students will practice giving and following clear directions, which enhances their ability to communicate effectively, particularly in situations where visual cues are limited.
  3. Teamwork and Cooperation: Working in pairs and groups, students will learn to collaborate and rely on each other, fostering teamwork and mutual support in overcoming obstacles.
  4. Inclusivity in Sports: Through discussions and activities, students will explore how to encourage and include people with physical disabilities in sports, promoting a more inclusive mindset.
  5. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: The obstacle course activity will challenge students to think critically about how to assist others and navigate complex situations, sharpening their problem-solving skills.
